1 DO NOT LEAVE EVIDENCE AROUND! No receipts, no hotel slips of paper, no hotel pens, no cell call history, not one scrap of paper. Use special programs to erase Internet history just before you leave.

2 Use one credit card and cancel it after trip or hide it where it will never be found or until your next trip. All credit card records can be pulled in a nasty divorce -you went there on a "dental trip" and she knew about it you'll say. Get your teeth cleaned while you are down there.

3 Do not stay at DR

4 DO NOT feel the need to explain everything. The less said the better! "Its a boring business trip" and there just isn't thing interesting about it. Lies need a lot explanation but the truth is usually simple --usually. One short explanation of the trip and done. If she insists on talking about your "business" trip pick some incredibly boring topic related to the trip.

5 Figure how you'll phone home. IF it comes up say "the hotel phone is too pricey --I'll be using a calling card" otherwise explain nothing. Use Skype or some other method. Wireless and Skype work well but the cabled connection is better.

6 Her: "I called the hotel and they said you weren't there?!" Answer: "You wouldn't believe how the hotel screwed up my reservation! I had to go to another hotel. Those assholes. I don't want to talk about it"

7 Be super safe. That sore on your member when you get back might give you away.

8 Plan ahead for all contingencies. This is important.

9 Watch the weather and news in the city where you are supposed to be so you can answer about it.

10 Call credit card company and tell them you will make charges in CR. They might make a call about unauthorized use to your residence --not good.

11 If your wife is smarter than you or she has a friend in the CIA --give up now.

tips gentleman?

Concur with all but especially #10--Anybody using a CC in CR should do this anyway. And don't forget our Sponsor, the Alibi Network:

I have no vested interest in this outfit but we've gained a ton of paid members who may not have heard of them.

If you want to completely conceal where you are, get the iphone vonage app (if you have an iphone). Call over wifi using the vonage app. The caller ID will come up with your regular cellphone number. It looks like you're calling from the USA from your cellphone like normal.

SR

Good idea, you can also do that from Skype on your laptop or cell phone app.

I solved all those worries and issues and just got divorced. Finally a free man, I can do what the phuck I want, when I want, with who I want, I don't have to ask anyones opinion for shit, I don't have any gnats buzzing in my ear, and I can spend my money any damn way I want. Why did I wait so long?

Brother Srilm presents 4 bleak choices but what others are there? Marry in haste, repent at leisure. I just try to give an empathic ear to those who have done (and secretly pat myself on the back for not having done). I am truly fortunate for living in a state that abolished common-law marriage in 1937...or I'd have been caught up.
I didn't mean this to sound smarmy--pure luck on my part and nothing else.

I read a recent report that #4 is becoming much more common.

In my case, I have a pretty good relationship with my esposa but she "lost interest" after menopause. We are pretty conservative/conventional folks, but, ultimately she recommended to me that I go out and find "sex partners" (her words). I believe that a wise and considerate wife should be understanding of what a man needs.

No. Wrong!

Man Rule 22.0 reads: A man can screw as many women he wants and is to be admired as long as he is not caught by his wife. A woman, however, who screws around, is a whore.

Great tips... I've been travelling at least once a year, sometimes twice since 1999... I really like the advise on having the Skye on the iPhone, appearing to be Stateside. I do travel some for work, so having a couple more trips to CR would be nice. Normally when working/travel, I get away with 1 call a night since "I work so hard during the day".

I'm definately going to look at Skye & iPhone! I have Blackberry & Sprint service now... does anyone know if there's a cost-wise solution here?
