Good evening all,
I know Columbus Day is recognized, in the US anyway, this year on Oct 11. Is it the same in San Jose? The main thing will the Banks be open for business? I would hate to have not enough colones to party on Tuesday. Any help would be nice.
Thanks
Bobshere :D

All you need to do is go to an ATM. Columbus Day, as I recall is not very popular in Latin America for the most part. Just make sure to let you bank know that you will be using your ATM and or CC out of the country before you leave to avoid any problems. Regards, DRD
