Is anyone familiar with the area Barrio Escalante in San Jose? If so, can you tell me a little about the area? I meet some girl on Latin Cupids and just wanted to get a better idea of the area.

Barrio Escalante is about 8 or 9 blocks east of Sportsmens Lodge. It's not a bad residential neighborhood as far as San Jose goes. There are a number of stately old homes and a couple of foreign embassies.

Bario Escalante is one of the nicest old neighborhoods in town. If she grew up there she is probably from a well to do family.
