Hello gentlemen,

Admin1 wanted me to post a apology to all of you.
Only one problem, I'm not sorry for doing it.
One thing I'm not is a liar or bullshitter. I shoot straight from the hip.

I do realize what I did was SO very wrong on so many levels.
But I just had to do it.
I thought it up a couple of days ago and considered it, but dismissed it, thinking it was way too over the top.
Nobody in there right mind would do it.
Then yesterday I realized what I have known for a long time now, that I just ain't right.
So it was on. I know in my heart of hearts that Florida would think this was one of the greatest jokes ever.
I just had to do it for him. I could hear him laughing his ASS off every time I thought of it.
Do and think what you will but I'm not sorry I did it and never will be.
I did apologize to Admin1 this morning. But in all fairness I PM'd him when I posted and I guess I didn't make myself clear enough that I was making the April fools joke.
And that Florida was not faking. So he wasted some of his valuable time needlessly.
He took off my posts and Florida's memorial. The memorial is back up but he told me there was no chance he would post mine.
I did ask.
I hope that after the initial pissed-off shock wears off that you-all will see the true humor in it. ( I'm dreaming)
I would like some comments from whoever wants to. I'm sure there are going to be many that hate it but some that will like it. We will see.
Those of you that really knew Florida should know what he would think about it....
So for those of you who did not get a chance to see it. It went something like this.

The header said;

(then the opened page)

This is so phucked on so many levels I don't even know where to start. It's no joke to fake a death, I for one am very pissed. May you all involved rot in hell. If Tim's mom was involved it's one screwed up family that I will NEVER have anything else to do with any of them. Revenge is a dish best served cold and don't forget it!!!!!!

As you can see Nuck you continue to confuse people through all your rhetoric. Bottom line is Tim is gone at his own hand if we are to believe you though we
and many members have spent many hours trying to confirm all this but it appears from all sides that he has move to the next life.

At the same time you still confuse members, I read the above from LK and he still doesn't understand any of this nor do I hence the confusion yet your not sorry.
I for one feel the memory of our beloved member is tarnished from this prank. There was nothing no matter how you slice it funny about the joke, or the confusion it caused.

I for one will leave the Memorial to stand on its own and will say my own prayer for our departed brother but nothing in any way shape or form makes me find any humor
in this so called prank. Sorry but everything I stand for comes in to question if I were to condone this and I can't.

I am a new member to the board and I did not know Tim, nor do I know OP.
With that in mind some might say that I am speaking out of turn, but at the risk of being flamed as such I chose to continue typing this post.

It is obvious that Tim was a jolly fella and extremely well liked.
It is apparent that Tim was up for jokes, fun and a free spirit.
What immediately trailed the passing of this respected member were torn hearts and vivid emotions among many members.
Some were obviously quite besides themselves when learning the sad news.

To OP, Tim may have been all game for making him self the center of a prank.
I am also sure that he in the end would want it to be categorized as "If you can't laugh at yourself ....".
The fact is that he is no longer with those on earth who loved him and they are ripped to pieces inside dealing with their loss.
Those people, Sir, were the ones that you pulled the prank on; the very people who are struggling to come to grips with the loss they have suffered.

As an outsider, I can only state that this has to be the lowest of the low I have ever witnessed.
Completely without dignity and not something a sane person would do.

Again, I am not in the inner circle here and if I, as a complete outsider, stepped over my bounds adding this post, I do apologize.

I'll try to get to Naples this weekend and get this straight one way or the other. If he's alive he's lost a friend and I'll tell him to his face at home or at work. Any individual who would joke about his own death has serious emotional problems and I for one will not deal with anyone that unstable. That goes way beyond an April fools joke, it's sick. Admin I'll update you when I get back.

Very well said, I think that sums up a lot of feelings quite nicely. I never knew Florida, but damn dude...you don't joke about someone's death, even if you feel the deceased may have appreciated it.

The confusing nature of threads left some of us in shock wondering if Florida was in fact still alive and the whole past week had been a sick prank.

Well, I never met Florida, but I did feel a loss, especially for his mother and his presence on the board. I am a prankster, but something like this is a bit (actually a very far bit) beyond what I would conjure in my mind.

Somehow, to express a loss in life, I guess people have their own ways. I just thought about his mom (first husband, now a son). I have one of those moms and it brought tears to my eyes. I see her almost everyday and hear the sighs.

I'd rather have a politics forum (vote = no).

Totally tasteless and rude....screwing with peoples emotions really suck. Tim was a friend. He's dead. Mourn. April Fools!!!! well better a sick joke than him being dead. People digging through public records trying to get the facts. Not amblance chasers, or trying to get in on the gossip, just trying to grasp a faint hope that Tim is truly alive. No concrete answers for a day, and actually not now. Coming from a troll, people would dismiss it, but coming from Nuckenfutz, although a known prankster, a respected and known member, we are waiting on every word or confirmation, because he seems in "the know" I personally was in a true funk yesterday. I truly liked Tim. Met him, he made me laugh. So, I guess Tim is dead. Now I can grieve, and get on with it.

That has to be one of the worst apologies ever...

This just in, in the spirit of Mrs. Doubtfire, Florida has decided to pursue his second career as Susan Boyle. Yep no more stocking the wine at Pubics for our dirt napping amigo. He has decided to shave his balls with earnest and tour the world as Susan Boyle, another village idiot from across the pond.
