Yea, I know what the scene is like normally during this time, but wondering if anybody is actually in town right now, and how its looking.

The DR was actually pretty busy with chicas yesterday afternoon and last night. There were two tables going in the poker room last night. There was a nice selection for "company". There wasn't much competition bartering with the usual "cien". I believe everything will change tonight when the sale of alcohol will end at midnight and re-open Saturday night at Midnight. (I could be wrong about the times)

The dry days are Thursday and Friday. The sale of alcohol stopped at 12:01 this morning and can resume at midnight tomorrow night. Saturday and Sunday are normal day as far as alcohol sales are concerned.

I went out for a walk today down the two pedestrian walkways and there were a number of people out and about. There were some stores open, mostly clothing stores, but McD's and Burger King were open. Tomorrow should be the real shutdown day. I plan to take some video and post it on my blog, stay tuned!

Just got back today from one week at the SL. There was police tape over the liquor cabinets at the bar. No mas until 12:01 Saturday AM. But you can keep liquor in your room and pour your own and bring back to the bar, I confirmed this with the owner, Bill.

i'm here right now, the SL is full i think. many, if not all of us, have stocked up on alcohol so that's no problem. beginning of week no problem with ladies, but yesterday and today i figure will be fewer ladies. i emailed a favorite who showed up yesterday and she provided me with my best session ever. today, good friday, i figure will be dead. but let's see. happy to be here as always.

I don't know about the DR, but the SL was open for food a few years ago during Good Friday. I took my married friends there. No girls, older section of town, and good food. They were impressed and I reinforced my image of frequenting, "good places".

I'm stocked to the hilt with booze.

Glad to see you found some companionship today! Even better, glad we had a chance to meet at the SL and swap a few stories.

I have to confess, I sometimes had to wait quite a while to get a totally empty picture or video. There were a few stragglers here and there. And the cops were out in force... no danger and double time pay. Muy Tico.
