Does anyone know of a good or better wine shop in Escazu or the other suburbs?

There is one in Escazu that I know of. It is located in Plaza los Laureles which is located almost directly across from the U.S. Ambassadors residence. Super Sarettos in Ezcazu Anonos and Auto Mercado in Plaza Atlantis in Escazu San Raphael both have a large wine selection.

In San Pedro in the Centro Comercial Calle real (where the Ichiban sushi restaurant is) there is a wine shop all the way in the rear of the shopping center.

Happy tippling.

Showin exactly why I didn't send Greengo a PM on this subject. Want to give a serious answer, bro? Shakespearean/Greek mythologic references extraneous but acceptable. I used to use Mad Dog in my bong...then drink the residue. Hoo ha! (Alcohol,er, filters out the active ingredient..and the active ingredient potentiates * in it).

* potentiates--the whole is greater than the sum of the parts--IE, you get phucked up that much quicker. Incidentally, it's the same with nicotine--don't drink the hookah water unless you want to die.

If you can, purchase your wine at the airport. You can get up to 10 bottles. Believe it or not, Hipermas has a pretty good selection of wines as does Pricesmart but that requires a membership card. Costco cards won't work.

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=29902&hilit=wine is a thread that lists several possibly well stocked wine shops...

Heck, all he had to do was use the search engine, put one word in it, WINE, and he would have had his answer straight away......straight away.....and more detail than this current thread......*shrug*
