I remember a while back reading about a guy who makes fitted, hand made boots if given enough time to measure your feetand make the boots.

I have done a search and was not able to find anything helpfull. Does anyone know of this guy and has information to share?

Brother ID's links are from 4-5 years ago but the info should still be viable--these kinds of craftsmen tend to stay in one place. And, natch, if you find another bootmaker, Brother LT, you'll let us know?

That area has housed boot makers, saddle maker and other leather goods craftsmen for as long as most can remember. Doubt that all have vanished into the night.

There is a corner a couple blocks west of bus stop Coca Cola where there are several leather shops that make boots, bags, belts, saddles.

probably be thousands of slave chinese workers making boots for CR now that the new trade agreements between china and CR have been signed by the outgoing administration.....should drive down the price to about $14.75 a pair.
