I have been planning to come down and wanted to brush up on spanish. Got on colombiancupid and found a lady with a little english and a webcam. It's like having a personal spanish tutor, but she probably works harder. Hangs on every word. Really nice gal. (I should state that I wouldn't miss lead her, I've told her I wanted a friend and to chat, etc.) A banker with a great rack. I think she'd show me the sweater monkeys if I asked, but I don't want to ruin the spanish lessons.


BTW, what percent of the really pretty young women on there are scam artists or prepago's? I assume a high percent but I was talking to a gal last week who was way too young and pretty for me and seemed way too eager. She's about to graduate from college (or so she says), is 22, and is interested in men 25-45. I've read on here or somewhere else that's a sure sign of a prepago. I regret that and won't do it again. She probably is, IMO, but doesn't want to admit it? I'm an attractive 42 yo physician. Maybe I'm just more marketable down there than I realize. (Probably not, lol.) Talking to another little "Remedios" on webcam. One of the most beautiful women I've ever laid eyes on. Must be a scam, but she hasn't asked for money yet. How long will these scam artists spend playing you before asking for money, etc.?

I gave one gal my MSN and promptly started getting emails from Russia. Ugly old women. Sad. The profile was removed before I could report it. Talked to one gal who was stuck in Ghana, LOL. Reported her and her profile was promptly removed, so the site does take scamming seriously.

Doc. Quit screwing around with webcams and book a flight to SJO. Don't worry about your Spanish...that will come in time. I'm serious about the whole computer thing...I'd rather spend the $ "in theater" than have it extracted from me via a web-scam. Also, ask her to show you the sweater monkeys, take a screen shot, and show it to me sometime....

I agree with CH. The internet is a waste. For any success story there are hundreds of scams. Bad odds.
