Here in Texas, it looks like a wind chill of 14 degrees and it's gonna last for 4 days. Guess you ex-pats in SJO are looking at 60 degree weather :x :x :!:

weather is terrible here!!!!! Hell it rained most of last night and was 'cold' - got down to around 60!! jeje. And this morning that damn sun is shining so bright you need sunglasses if you go outside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And many of the chicas are still not back at work to keep us guys warm. It is a rough life, but then I could (NOT) be in the states really freezing my butt off!!

I talked to one of my favoritas a few minutes ago... gonna make the drive from Guanacaste to SJ after work tonight. She mentioned the volcano that erupted for the first time in over 150 is really messing with the weather... is that true?

My favorita emailed me yesterday saying that was "muy frio" in SJ. I don't think she understood when I responded that it was -20 Celsius here in Chicago a couple of days ago with 6 inches of snow on the ground.

60 degrees....sounds pretty nice to me.

The rain started pounding last night while I was doing my chica pounding. I paused for a moment to listen to the pitter-patter then told her to turn around.

Mostly cool, sunny & breezy around here.

Even here in SWFL it is cold. It's 43 at 10:32PM and going to get colder this weekend.

Border to border, coast to coast, this is shaping up to be one of the coldest winters ever--10-25 degrees below seasonal norms everywhere. I'm working just to pay the heating bills and I'm not alone. Don't know what the Florida economy's gonna be like if they lose the winter strawberry and citrus crops but it's gonna get uglier. Hey Congress, got any money left for the fine Florida folk?

You know, after all the visits to CR, I've never cared about the weather...

It's been a cooler than usual year, but the most noticeable weather anomaly this year has been the lack of rain during rainy season. Have hardly seen any, which is a first for me in the 7 years I've lived here.

You're right. These girls from CR and Colombia and Nicaragua don't comprehend "cold." When it gets down below 60 they walk around with fur collars and hoods pulled up over their heads.

I was talking on the phone to one of mysweeties in Medellin yesterday, trying to explain that the temperature here (Oklahoma) was 1 degree(F) and the wind-chill was about 15 below. She said that, yeah, it was cold in Medellin too. I looked online and it was about 65 in Medellin.

GLOBAL WHAT??? Maybe these scientists should go outside and stand there for 10 minutes. It's even chilly here in CR.

But global warming means it will be colder. At least that's what all the scientists are telling us.
