Thanks ID. My last long wknd. trip to Colombia I unintentionally timed it to be there during a Monday holiday of which there is one very frequently. So I missed one good complete day of fun with precious small time  but now have a list for it also which I will also post on here.

Thanks. The original source had the entire Seman Santa week with the incorrect date. I caught Holy Thursday and Good Friday and corrected them but missed Easter.

Good catch. Thanks. :D

Doesn't Costa Rica celebrate Epiphany (Three Kings Day) on 6 January?

I have been under the impression that Latin American countries with cultural influences stemming from Spain all celebrate this Holiday. It is very similar to el dia de Navidad except gifts are pretty much given to Ch*ldren only.

And thanks for sharing your research.

Not a big day in Costa Rica. Ch*ldren are given gifts but other then that is is business as normal. I do not know why it is not a celebrated in a more grand scale as is the custom in most Latin countries as you point out.

Thanks ID

It helps to know that the Ticos at least do think about their K*ds every now and then.

I noticed that in Colombia the Epiphany is called The Day of the Magi and it is celebrated on January 11.

Again, thanks.
