Do many girls show up on New Years day? Or are they sleeping off day and hangover. Maybe someone remembers what last year was like?

Now that it's over, I can report that the Del Rey was completely dead in the late afternoon/early evening. It may have picked up later but I didn't stick around.

I was in the SL yesterday from 12 noon till about 6pm. During that time there were on average 40+ guys (yes, mostly watching the ball games) and one regular below average (about a 4 in my book) chica who did after 3 hours get a negocio. about the time she left another "4" came in. When i left she was still looking for a client. Several guys were complaining that there were no chicas working. I finally gave an amigo my "phone book" and he called Cristina and she came in to meet him.

This afternoon about 5pm it was close to being back to normal for a Saturday afternoon in terms of the # of chicas, but the guys still out numbered the chicas.

From my experience the last few years, if you want "company" on New Years Day, you would be smart to arrange ahead of time for a chica to meet you.
