TSE Lays Out Rules For Presidential Elections
The Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones (TSE) is ready for the 2010 presidential elections that will take place on February 7th, when Costa Ricans go to the polls to elect their president.
The TSE has set out the rules of fair play that take effect the first week in February.
The TSE says that all political parties and candidates cannot hold public meetings and rallies after February 2. And February 3 is the last day for the release polls, public opinion results and any political propaganda.
The 2010 election will also bars open and the sale of alcohol allowed.
In the past, the sale of alcohol and bars are ordered closed the day before the election, the day of the election and the day following the election.
