Contemplating a trip down this weekend.....it would be awful if the bars and restaraunts were unable to sell alcohol. Can someome down there confirm if indeed the alcohol will flow? Can't imagine the bar being sealed up and only soft drinks and juices on the menu ...

The TSE has set out the rules of fair play that take effect the first week in February.

The TSE says that all political parties and candidates cannot hold public meetings and rallies after February 2. And February 3 is the last day for the release polls, public opinion results and any political propaganda.

The 2010 election will also bars open and the sale of alcohol allowed.

In the past, the sale of alcohol and bars are ordered closed the day before the election, the day of the election and the day following the election.
