Boy's battered body found By the A.M. Costa Rica staff Agents are investigating the death of a boy about 13 whose body was found about 11 p.m. Sunday night in Playa Herradura near Jacó. The boy had a broken forearm and an injury to his shoulder that could have been caused by being tossed around by waves. However, the Judicial Investigating Organization said that an autopsy report would be awaited. I have watched him grow up selling necklaces around the restaurants of Jaco for the last four or five years. He was very polite, great personality always a pleasure to run into. Chances are, if you have eaten out in Jaco at night, you have come in contact with him.... The world really sucks sometimes..... |

Lots of different gossip around town, but it does look like it might be foul play. Even though it wouldn't bring him back, it would lessen the blow a bit if it was found to be an accident and not an act of violence. |

We don't often see this kind of personal pain expressed hereabouts. Thirdworld is a helluva guy for having done so. |
