Yeah, well, at least we know when shit's gonna happen here. When's your next earthquake or volcanic eruption? Actually that taunt goes for Costa Rica too. |

Well Jazz I lived in NJ so I know you have warnings of snow storms and you also know you are going to have a few months of gray dismal sky. I lived in Florida where you had warnings of hurricanes but even with warning Andrew blew us away. I live in Costa Rica where there are no warnings of earthquakes and I have felt two relatively strong ones. Volcanoes? Really do not see them as a great threat. Given all that where would I prefer to live? Costa Rica Pura Vida amigo |

i grew up in new england and you can keep that weather. been is so calif for 28 years and wouldn't trade the weather. all the saps back east talk about our earthquakes way more than we do. in all my time here the ground has shook for no more than 2 minutes...total. and i have not even come close to sustaining any damage whatsoever. you can have all that snow, sleet, rain and cold. i'll take this...plus 4 trips a year to CR!! |

Whoa BrotherLilrube55--"saps"?? Tough words indeed. The Middle Atlantic states are the sweet spot, all-year-around considered, though the weather can be, shall we say, changeable? "If you don't like the weather now, just wait a minute." Breeds tough folks who love a challenge--plus we're not going to have the Mexican Mafia overrunning our backyards anytime soon. Back to you, Chet. |

People 'back East' should be glad the people 'out West' left. People 'out West' should be glad people 'back East' stayed there. There, that should cover it. |
