This has happened to me several times and don't know how the CRT website is constructed or why this happens. The internet is terrible today in Jaco. I can't get to hardly any sites and if I do it takes forever. CRt is working like normal. Can anybody explain that? Whatever you did, good on ya.. ![]() |

Thirdworld: I can honestly say it is more than likely do to the fact we run a dedicated server that is 90% more than we actually need which under normal or challenged circumstances you should get and always receive a very fast response time even in slow or horrible connection areas. Just my guess but glad it helps you out down there! |

Thanks Admin. Yeah, it's very strange, have not had it happen with any other websites. I've been in different locations at different times and CRT was the only website I could go to. Doing something right for sure. ![]() |

check your download speed: http://www.speedtest.net/ It will automatically list a server in San Jose that will measure the download speed of data to your machine. |

Thanks for sharing, Brother Steven1. I tried it and came up with 400Kb/s on a dial-up connection. They have a new sister site, www.pingtest.com (now in beta) that measures quality of signal (mine was poor). To move things along a bit, look into Download Accelerator Plus for static stuff and Speedbit Video Accelerator for vids and such. Both work well, are stable and available for free at www.download.com a trustworthy CNET.com subsidiary. They both work by streaming stuff from multiple "mirror" servers. Indespensable for dial-up connections, helpful for everybody. |

I find the same thing here in Canada. At times when the net sucks and have a hard time pulling up other sites seems I can always pull up CRT. ![]() ![]() |
