http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200911/labi-snatchback is an article in the November 2009 issue of The Atlantic Monthly. While it does not specifically so state, it most certainly reads like the woman/mother/person involved was a Del Rey type.

Bottom line: The woman/mother/person never really made the "adjustment" back to civilization once having entered the netherworld(s) and sub stratas of "the life".

Curious reading at any rate......

Fascinating story about an intriguing guy. I wish him the best--he seems to qualify potential clients well, so he doesn't get caught up in some humbug. Thanks (again) for sharing Brother Steven1. For more on him including a better photo, see: www.parentdish.com/2009/11/03/vigilante ... ave-kids/4 *

2 comments: (1) There's got to be shysters promising the world doing this. This guy Todd was lucky/ skillful enough to find a "good" guy.
(2) Anybody else smell a movie in this? Maybe 4 x 30 minutes segments including at least one failure (to humanize)? A Leguizamo movie maybe?

* Because of the anti-bot filters here, you'll have to type in the link from your browser. Sorry, gang.

Does not the mother of the young person not smack of a Del Rey type who simply could not adapt to real life after having been in the "fast lane" of quick money? Does not her white powder desire not go hand in glove with escalation of "....living the dream....."?? (At least for the girlys??). Does to me.....
