Rossetta Stone Ultimate #2 is beginner disk with 27 languages and 41 levels.

Its really helpful and has all the basics, vocabulary with pics, frases, test.

This disk is good for beginner language skills in almost all languages
It does have some advanced lessons

Rosetta Stone is not compatible with Windows 7. I own Rosetta Stone, but I upgraded my computer to Windows 7, and it no longer works.

I called Rosetta Stone, and they told me that they don't support Windows 7. You can't even install the software on a Windows 7 computer, because their software doesn't recognize CD-Roms on Windows 7.

Luckily, they take returns within 6 months of the purchase date, so I did get my money back.

If you have no intention to use Windows 7, this is a non-issue... but if you do it will be a hassle.

Mule Dick - Download the free Window XP Virtural module at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx. It 's a free download and will probably work. It works inside of Windows 7.
