Post subject:  CRT or Sportsmen's Lodge Superbowl Party?
Usually I see something about a Superbowl Party @ the SL, by now. I am burning up Frontier miles before the new owner changes the rules, so I am already booked into SJO for the Superbowl. Whether there is a sponsored party or not, the SL will be happening for the event.

Anyone else planning to go?

That is my don't-miss trip of the year. Should be in town, staying at SL Tuesday - Wednesday including the big day. It's a bit early for the announcement yet -- last year the squares weren't even on the wall yet when I visited in December. Right now SL is gearing up for the second-best (I'm waiting for the snappy comebacks) party of the year.

Yea....Wish I could be there for Halloween, but saving my pennies for a return to MDE for NYE. I hear it's a BLAST, so perhaps I should check it it next year!

Breaking News regarding Super Bowl Sunday in CR. It has been confirmed to me that the "Dry Day Election Law" here in Costa Rica has been repealed. Therefore we at Sportsmen’s Lodge will have our traditional Super Bowl Party with one price "all you can Eat & Drink" with the game and dancers, football pools etc. Formal Announcement coming after Thanksgiving Day.

CRT VIP members will receive discounts as usual! Tickets’ will be available to purchase by December 15th, 2009 for the Sunday Feb. 7th, 2010 Party.

Me too! I had no idea that we might encounter an election timeframe, but am HAPPY to see it was repealed. Even if it was a dry day, we just would have had to make our own party! And I know we know how to do that. But I am glad to see we can attend a first-class event. I missed last year as I was at El Silencioso's 50th B'day party and could not do both. Looking forward to this party.
