There's no comparison. Helpe is HUGE!!! You could probably fit 5-10 Blue Marlin Bars in the space occupied by Helpe. Part of the greater space comes from the much higher ceiling at Helpe which gives a greater sense of spaciousness. Helpe is actually 2 stories high with an upper balcony ringing and overlooking a large dance floor (which is actually where I liked hanging out because the atmosphere was more laidback up there, the music not quite as loud and one could scope out the garotas on the floor below). That music and large dance floor is another thing that sets Helpe apart from the BM. Although one can always go over to the KL for dancing, the dance floor there is tiny compared to Helpe. Helpe also has a large patio area out in front of it called Terrazo Atlantico with perhaps 30-40 tables where you can sit and/or chat up the ladies and either take them inside or directly back to one's apartment. The only shortcoming for Helpe relative to the BM is they charge a small cover to get in, but that is no big deal.

It's like comparing apples to oranges. Not even close!

The only thing I like better about the Blue Marlin is that they are always open and Help doesn't open till 11:00pm.

thanx fellas for the insight, a little disappointing-yes but Help is its own slice of heaven. I'm sure the blue marlin and key largo has plenty to offer as well. Imma make the most out of both. :D
