Hopefully one of my CRT brotehrs can help me out.....been down to Costa Rica few times and usually have changed money at the Del Rey... I am sick of getting ripped off by there exchange rate so was wondering if the bank on the second floor of the airport will be open on friday at 7:30pm when my flight gets in to exchange money? Anyone know when it closes? I am also staying at the Del Rey all weekend and wondering if the Colonial hasd a better exchange rate or where close by will be open on friday at 8pm or saturday to exchange money for a good rate. Hope someone can help. Just trying to get the biggest bang for my buvk! Donlobo |

If you wanted to ripped off by professionals then use the airport exchange, when I went thru there a few months ago they were not even close to down town hotels rates, airport was under 500 to one, at Sl was at 540 to one at the time. Airport is for emergency only if you can at all avoid it. IMHO |

I was referring to the bank upstairs at the airport, not the ripoff currency exchange. |

Yes . the departure level money exchange should be open at that time. I was there on a Sat. night at around 7:30 ish and it was open. good luck. |
