A chica who was visiting me the other day told me that there is a lot of strange stuf going on at the DR. I was there yesterday and it was confirmed. First the security seems to be not allowing the "heavier" chicas into the place. They are sending them over to Key Largo even in the afternoon when there is "no one" there. A security guard was overheard telling a chica to go to KL because she would "take up too much room". OOOWWW. They are also closing KL at 2am and chicas there at that time are NOT ALLOWED to return to the DR after that. HUH?? Then the most surprising thing.....Christina has been let go!! Most of our favorite's bartender after about 13 years is GONE. I don't know the story BUT maybe someone can chime in here.

All this is going on while business is declining because of the economy in the U.S. Throwing out the gorga chicas may sound like a good idea on the surface BUT with less Gringos and less overall chicas it just doesn't sound like such a good idea. The SL is sounding better and better.

Getting rid of the fat chicas is NOT as good an idea as it sounds. It lowers the overall supply. With demand being constant, Economics 101 tells us that the price should go up. While the law of supply and demand doesn't apply perfectly to the DR "market", it will have an effect on prices.

Depending on what the weight limit is, the number of chicas should be down by about 50% (:lol:). This gives more leverage to the skinny chicas to hold the prices high.

But a positive may be that it may give the gorditas some much needed motivation to lose a few (dozen) pounds.

I've been thinking for years that the DR makes money in spite of itself. They see themselves as so big and the only game around that they could care less if patrons like what they do or not. That is very interesting to hear about not letting bigger chicas. Too bad the chicas aren't in the states. They would find a hotshot attorney, sue the DR for all it is worth, go on Oprah, and write a book about how they were mistreated. I agree that they need to be around as filler if nothing else. Guys will have to compete harder for what is left.

However, D.R. revenue would probably really take a hit if they stopped letting the fat mongers in...

I've seen what some guys call "thick" in the VIP Gallery. I like a selection of different weight classes. So I'm gonna see alot of high priced 100 pounders when I arrive next week?

This is a good line, and I agree.

It seems like - no matter what the owners of the HDR do, they'll still make plenty of money in spite of their good or bad business decisions. Besides, I'm pretty sure that they own the Key Largo also, so they'll still make the money. It just means there'll be more monger foot traffic, crossing the street from the HDR to the KL. Plus, it'll be much busier in the KL, and hopefully the asking price from the chica's at the KL will come down. Either way, it must be "humbling" for them to get turned away for being gordita's. Then again... maybe not!

I wonder if the HDR management has been listening to Pacifica55. He's been saying for two years now that the HDR needs a load limit.

Hey, fat chicks are fun once in awhile. Also, some of the fatties have prettier faces, fewer tattoos, and give much better service.

I was just sitting at the DRhaving lunch and a guy named BOB ....guess he is in charge of getting the new poker room together and he asks ...where am I staying and I tell him the Sportmens , he says he will give me a free night if I stay a night and a free dinner ....also told me the poker room would open on Friday ...then later said...next Tuesday ....He ask me why I dont stay at the DR.I told for one I dont like the 10 fee for the girl...he said" they do this because of the tight security they have and it keeps the customer safe....anyway I told him most hotels have the same security without charging the 10....he changed the subject

Just goes to show you what the situation is here....from 6 to 10 the DR was dead...but by 1200 a good crowd...my first timer guy I have with me ...had a very rookie day !!! first we took him to all the MP "s....showed him girls he could screw for 14.00 that look the same as any sportmen girl...then taught him how to try for the best deal with a girl at the sportmens or DR.....I felt like we had him in the right direction.....so what does he do....Lets a girl ...maybe a 6...suck him in for 100 at the sportmens...then buys her dinner ..and what do you think she orders...filet , while he eats a hamburger ....to say the lest , I am ready to kick his ass....for myself ...I just cant stay away from this one girl...loves the drama, and by the time we get ready for the room....the drama shit starts again....at 4.30 am ...I just said screw it !!!!!

We dropped by a few times last tuesday thru friday, when i go in i usually do my rounds around the bar then around the casino to see if they have any hotties that catch my eye. After reading this thread, come to think of it I really dont recall seeing any gorditas at the DR this trip.
