Based on what I perceive to be Sedini's personality, coming to C.R. would have done him no good at all. In fact, the mercenary nature of the transaction would have verified his anger toward women.
Sedini wanted to score without compromise, as his blog shows. He was unwilling to accept that there might be very good reasons that women would not go with him.
Prostitutes would have proven his assertion that all women are in it for personal gain, that they have no real love to give...and furthermore, he would be wounded that he had to pay for something that he felt was his birthright, free of charge.
Prostitution is no panacea. It can be wonderful recreation, but it can also be humiliating in a way, especially for those men who "have to" pay for it.
I'll never forget encountering a real bad one at the del Rey. He nearly shoved us aside entering the west door. I was told by a fellow CRT'er who observed him, that the farther he made it around the circuit, the more tense and angry he became.
We saw him just as he was ready to leave the south door. He was muttering, not quite under his breath...
"They're all dirty whores. Just dirty whores. phucking dirty bitches...." etc.
To say the chicas gave him wide berth is a gross understatement. Per my wingman, one of them even made the Sign of the Cross after he passed her with a baleful glare.
Misogyny and true, active hatred for women are evidenced by many in our hobby. It seems to me, from my experience that the most misogynistic among us are those who proclaim most loudly that "it's only and all about the money." YMMV, of course... these are just the perceptions of a blind man in the midst of a sea filled with dollar-hungry sharks, who will mate with men before slowly killing them.
I don't care how phucked up in the head you are - you don't walk into a fitness center (or any place for that matter) and try to shoot and kill as many women as you can. I get furious just thinking about it.... 
Does normal include guys who carefully dispose of their Stateside lives, move to Costa Rica and start banging hookers as their bodies race toward andropause? Does "normal" include guys who spend a few hours each day discussing everything from prostitutes to fishing to cigars to psycho killers?
OTOH, wasting innocent people is not part of my makeup.

! Hate is such a horrible emotion contained in all of us to some degree but why on Gods Earth take it out on others...I will never understand. Just go kill yourself if life is that bad one would think.
