I've done Labor Day for the past five years, with one Mem. Day trip in the mix.

I don't follow college hoops. The Superbowl would be fun, but I think if I were to ever return to C.R., it would be for the Eve of All Hallows/Samhain. You mere mortals call it Halloween.

:lol: Some of the stories I've heard about Halloween parties blew my mind. :shock:

although I will be there for labor day this year, I actually prefer to avoid holiday party weekends in SJO.
I like it better when it's a little quieter at the SL and you can actually hear yourself talk in the courtyard.
Ninety-nine percent of the chicas tell me they don't like the fiesta weekends either. They say the gringos do too much drinking and bullshitting and not enough f-ing.

I like to hang with the guy's but hate crowds, I may be a bit anti social, I love heading to the mountains by myself just to debrief.

I've been to CR at least once for each of the listed holiday or event weekends. Now, I prefer making trips on an off-week when things are "slow."

As a K*D, Halloween was my favorite holiday because I could run free at night until there was no more candy to be had. But, I must say that seeing dozens of cuties at SL in sexy costumes on Halloween ignited more than a few fantasies in my hobgoblin like little mind :lol: Halloween parties in CR offer a plethora of cute little devils, French Maids, sexy female cops, nurses in miniskirts etc. You get my drift
