Gents,

In the spirit of bringing a sacrifice to lay at the Altar of Foo-Foo, I'm wondering the following:

Can Half & Half be frozen?

I'd love to bring this rare offering to C.R. to present to the Foo-Foo Master, but I doubt that the liquid would survive a total travel time of eight hours. ANy ideas?

I spoke with the foo foo master, and he said that half and half has survived the 12 hour trip to MDE and the 16 hour trip to Rio. It can certainly survive the 8 hour trip to SJO. These days, half and half is ultra pasteurized and has an extremely long shelf live. If you keep it in the freezer a couple of hours before packing it, and then put it in two zip lock baggies, it will survive the trip just fine. I believe that luggage on the plane is kept in a virtual freezer anyway. Just make certain that you don't buy 'fat free' half and half, like one of my well intentioned, but less than astute, friends did recently. :wink:

Do you think the Foo Foo Master would also like a can of filberts? I believe these nuts are commonly added as garnish to Foo Foos. :?

I've also used that term for many years. But for the hell of it, I did a search, and the first reference I found to "Foo Foo Drink" was by CRT member Vegas7-11. The name of the thread was "Good Times At Molino Rojo" from November, 2007. It is in the Massage Parlor, Bars and Night Club Section.

You haven't proven that you are right. I recall having this discussion a while ago and PR showed that it was he who first used the term here. However, even if you were the first to use the term on CRT, that fact is meaningless, because the term was relatively ubiquitious prior to that. I recall Zane Lamprey using the term on his TV show "Three Sheets" several years ago, referring to girly drinks. Just do a google search and you will see "foo foo drinks" showing up many years ago.
