Can someone tell me what brand of traveler checks i should get? I want Scotia Bank to accept them. Thanks in advance |

You should not get any traveler's checks. They are nearly universally seen as obsolete and easily counterfeited and that makes them very difficult to cash. My advice is to bring an ATM card or two and cash. Otherwise you may spend more time trying to cash your checks than partying! ![]() ![]() |

Travelers checks are a royal PITA! That being said, I did bring some for my Feb trip. I used them to pay for my hotels and spanish school. I knew in advance that these establishments would accept the checks. So, since I can get the checks for free and they are more secure than cash, I decided to go that way. For spending money, I use ATMs. They are convenient and free (for me! ![]() |
