I seem to remember this came up before but it is there a way to call the US from CR without having the caller ID show up?

If you have a laptop - download skype - this part is free. Then for a monthly fee you can purchase a "outcall number". After that you can program the outcall number to read any number you wish, which would include the cell number you presently have or the option to block it out altogether.

There are two ways that I know of.

1. Use a 199 phone card. There is an ICE booth in the baggage claim area of the airport, while you’re waiting for you bag just buy a card. You can also buy them from street vendors and at most pharmacies. A 10000 clone card will last about an hour for calls to the US. Street vendors often do not have the larger denominations like 5000 or 10000.

2. I requested that AT&T to block the caller ID from my cell phone.

Even if you don't need the caller ID blocked the 199 card is the cheapest way that I know of to call the US from CR without having some other gizmo that needs a computer.

happy calling

Or if you would like to have a number show up on caller ID and have the number you so desire, try this link and check it out. Call Spoof lets you put in any number for caller ID purposes so you can act like you’re in your office hard at work all the while you’re in another country mongering.

Are you an actual, paying member of AlibiNetwork or are you simply re stating what other members have posted?

I mean...after your balls drop, one wants to know for one's self what works.....via giving it the once over one's self....but then there are the others who simply re-write what they have read....having not clue one of an acutal experience.....

RAW data is better than simply repeating what another jugaloo has written was "his" experience.....

ta ta....
5'5" 195lb ilk.....(per someone's...post....)
