A buddy of mine that turned me onto CR has decided to bring one of the business girls home on a marriage visa. I researched for him and the rules are that if they admit to prostitution then no visa for 10 years.
If they lie is there anyway for the embassy to find out other than the interview? Yes i have gave him all the reasons to not do this; so we don't need that conversation here.

I don't think there is any way that they could find out she had been a prostitute. If he is already legally married to her, I would think that it would be easier than on a fiance visa. If he is married to her then I don't think bank accounts or money will be an issue. If she has no red flags in her past, it might take some time, but shouldn't be impossible to get a wife into the country... Let's see how long it takes for you to get the warnings even though you posted you know the score. Good luck.

I would agree with the first - never marry a prostitute. That is an illusion one can hardly afford personally from a monetary standpoint, as well as others. This discussion will never go away here because guys will continue to be fooled. I would suggest some hookers really want out of their lives and have a good-faith belief this is the best way. They may even think they "love" the guy. The problem is once a girl takes money as direct payment for sex, she'll never see guys the same again and that includes your friend. He'll have to learn the hard lesson in his own way.

As far as marrying a non-pro Latina or any foreigner, that can also be risky but not so much more than marrying a gringa - provided you do your homework. Actually, I came to believe it was a far healthier choice, and that feeling has only been reinforced in my current experience.

It's unlikely your buddy's girl will be found out. I find that's the least of his problems.

Please quote your source or list your degrees! They are women. Taking cash is no different from screwing for a new car or clothes or a nice place to live. Women have been trading their ass for perks forever and the fact that she cut out the middle man by taking it in cash does not change anything.

In my opinion, this sweeping condemnation is rooted much more in the heads of the men who espouse it than in the women who have lived it. It is much easier to say something can't be done than to acknowledge that the thing may be beyond one's personal ability with the tool set he currently possesses. Not at all the same thing.

That is not to say that some working women aren't permanently damaged. Many were in need of professional help long before they started selling their assets and others may have been scarred by the experience. As with choosing anyone for a mate, it is a sorting process.

To say that all working girls are forever ruined is to oversimplify people and their motivations and their ability to adjust, to heal and to grow. Makes it easy but it does not make the statement true. JMHO.

Versatile it's easier to get a fiance visa than getting one after marriage, I know 1 guy got married (biggest mistake of his life) first and it took over a year to get her here. The whole country is based on lies and screwing gringos so why worry about a Tica hooker lying on an application? Besides maybe your amigo will get lucky and they will deny her visa for 10 yrs.
