Metro PCS is no-fly-by-night business--they are a solid provider of comm. services. As their coverage map shows, they are especially strong in the BosWash Corridor, the Rust Belt down to Kentucky, all Eastern Texas, San Fran to LA, and, of course, Florida. They essentially buy time on the major providers (Sprint, Verizon, etc.) then re-sell it cheaper. There are other companies that do this but MetroPCS is the biggest and strongest. Actually, that's what phone cards do too.Their business model is strong and their prospects are excellent; they seem to be building quickly but responsibly, and targetting new markets carefully.
