To those who we salute, and those doing the salutations, please know this is one of the last, best, dying breeds of men and women we have left in our country, from what is left of our country.

Politics, rants, and emotions aside - this is truly a day of memory. May we always remember.

As a retired veteran, I would like to say thanks to all those here and elsewhere that has showed their appreciation today. It is truly why we vets do what we have done to serve this country. I was in from the final two years of the Vietnam war until after the first Gulf war

I salute especially those that are presently on active duty.
