Guys,

You know you're craving Costa Rica when it creeps into your dreams. My dream last night was in full color, very detailed, and with full vision (well, as much vision as I've ever had). I could see faces very clearly.

I was in an MP with red carpeting on the stairs. I didn't recognize my provider, but the room looked to me as I imagine the old ZB rooms looked, right down to the mirror on the wall, the triangular shower stall, the black camera nacelle in the ceiling. Oh wait, ZB didn't have hidden cameras...maybe it was a smoke detector? Anyway, the provider was plain ugly, a butterface with a great body. There was no sex in the dream, just conversations in Spanish/English (who knows? I just managed somehow to communicate with her). After the session, we walked up the red-carpeted stairs to a central bar area, where she brought me a beer. Anybody ever hear of a brand called "Besser's?" That was the name on the label. A girl with blonde, collar-length hair walked in and everyone shouted "Jenny!" She sat down on a sofa next to Plain Ugly and me, her smile crooked but brilliant, and offered me besos negros. Other mongers of course were present, including one guy who looked just like Larry David (as he has been described to me). I also saw this fat guy with a glass full of white liquid, presumably either a sperm sample or a foo-foo. There was this hairy Italian guy too with a really great moustache and a gold bracelet on his wrist. And, there was a white-haired guy with a map of San Jose who kept correcting everyone. Finally, there was a goofy-looking monger with a HUGE gut and an incredibly stained, dirty shirt who said he was from Dallas and was hunting kittens.

My point to all this is... you know you're addicted when you start dreaming about C.R. in such a surreal way. Thanks for letting me vent.

In Googling Besser AND beer, I came up with a jobhunter named Blake Besser who worked for Coors Brewery. Maybe he's putting out some private stock/ microbrewery thing 'til he hooks up? Best I could come up with, Brother El C.

I understand using Chantix (varenicline) to aid in quitting smoking gives you similar fevered dreams.

allow me to interpret your dream. I am afraid you are quite disturbed.

The Room symbolizes a prison cell, the red floors screaming out all of the innocent Fruit Vendors blood shed over the years by your errant and callous manners.

The black ceiling, the triangular shower and the Besos Negros symbolize the black, evil trinity of your butt-face, your more than ample fat ass and your natural proclivity of trouble making. In fact, though you make no mention of it, even the little darling was black as coal, such as a black, black, black Colombiana (and of course, no sex...fool, you paid in advance).

The Beer symbolizes the Fate of disappointments if drinking from a bar. To see others drinking means the work of designing intriguers will displace your fairest hopes.

The fact that you mention Larry David is only a reflection of your ill social skills and wallflower personality.

The two stout mongers represent two potential allies, Angels (but unfortunately Civil Service employees and therefore worthless) while the hairy Wop is Lucifer.

The old guy with the map is Bang Bang with new Low Rent MP locations.

And Jenny?

Well, she represents Love too young to know what conscience is.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I pray this helps.

In November of 2006, I tried to hit a different MP each day, without repeating. On day 17 , I started repeating. I enjoyed it so much I had nice dreams about it for a long time.

I say stop eating spicy food before bedtime.. I stopped trying to figure out dreams a long time ago because I'm a little afraid of what the answers mean. Also there's always too many things that are mixed up in subconscious mind to make anything of it...at least for me. Wait a min. the Italian guy could've been me..except I'm not so hairy.

That is the truth...some very vivid dreams....almost like a mild acid trip sometimes. (In my limited experience of course)

I kinda missed the dreams after I quit taking the pills

No dreams of dead fish smell in the hallway? No scent of a slightly used honey dipper?

When you start dreaming that your dick extends like that white cane it is time to get on a damn airplane! No need to wait until August El C, they are hot and wet now!

The Amateur is based on the dream, not the style. I've had dreams of CR in which I am an iguana and speaking spanish to my fellow iguanas while enjoying some empanadas and beers. I've also had dreams of the sunsets in Guanacaste where the clouds are animated fractals. But probably the strangest one was skiing down Arenal after using the mongers map for the trail listing, the base lodge being the HDR and Brenda from HLH being the bartender.
Maybe even more strange are the flashbacks of various areas of CR, some of the people I have met, and things I've done which I can see vividly in my mind but being here in the states and doing something totally unrelated to CR.
