Lay-a-Way

When you pay for a service or a product in increments over an agreed period of time, so that the burden of payment is reduced for those that cannot afford a single, larger lump sum. Sometimes known as in-store payments.

Example:

Eddie met his Nicaraguan 'novia' on one trip several trips back. Now, he regularly sends her cash via Western Union, sometimes several hundred over the course of many months. When Eddie comes into town, however, he has to pay nothing for time and sexo con ella, as he has "Laid her away".
