Yes, this was a suberbly executed small military operation and as a former Marine I'm especially pleased but amidst the victory cries, please keep in mind a few things, a few hard truths:
(1) The US as a country and separate economy was founded in part by state-sponsored piracy (they were called "privateers" but that's a distinction without a difference). We used these same actions against the Brits in the War of 1812 and the Civil War (supply interdiction to the South).
(2) The Barbary Coast "pirates" were state-sponsored and were thus privateers not pirates in the classic sense.
(3) A reading of Brother Prolijo's post in Smack Talk will give you an understanding of why these guys do what they do. In most cases they "pirate" to keep their villages/ tribes alive in a truly horrific chaotic situation caused in part by us, and not just for their own monetary gain.

(4) We're only occasionally going to encounter and beat these guys at sea. Next time will be much worse on those they capture (akin to the WW I actions of the Germans and the Brits--civility by the Germans ceased when the Brits started turning merchantmen into warships [Q-ships]). The only way to solve this problem is to deny them shore facilities and pray to whomever we don't have another Blackship Down situation.
