I picked 6 - 9K but haven't a clue to be honest. I pay what I pay and move on. I figure if I can't afford it then I should not be traveling. I don't carry debt on credit cards and only use them to pay for the airfare. I also set aside $600 a month into the monger travel fund and any money I make doing side work goes into there as well.

When I am home I don't do much preferring to travel when I can. Sure I can drive the luxury car and live in a McMansion but it doesn't mean a whole lot to me. I rather jump on a plane and see the world. I'm rather lucky in that I have 2 months of vacation a year that allows me to travel and I have a job that pays me well and affords me the ability to travel.

well I have a question!! Should I check the "$6001-$9000" since that is where the actual $$$$ I give to putas falls, OR should I check "over $15000" since I live here to be able to party with the chicas ALL THE TIME and that is my total income /expenses

Just kidding :!:   I do live here for other reasons, just can not always remember what they are :?

Hmmm....2008, next to 0. Hey, the recession sucks (or is it a depression?). But, usually between 6 & 9K.

Interesting:

it is interesting to see how much different people spend on their hobby. It makes me wonder who's getting the most satisfaction for dollar spent.

OK:

we may have to have two categories here. One for residents and one for visitors. It seems that the resident number one slot is taken.

Between Costa Rica and Thailand I'm most likely in the $6001 to $9000 range. I usually take 3 to 4 trips a year and stay for extended periods of time.
