After reading the first two pages of AM Costa Rica this morning, I remembered why I made a note to myself, over a year and a half ago, to explore other venues for my carnal desires. With all the dr*gas flowing in CR, CR will have a rude awakening for their tourism business, unless the government decides to deal with this issue. Que lastima

I don't think you'll find a country in all of Latin America where the drogas aren't freely flowing. Except maybe Cuba.

Oh, the drugs are flowing alright. They are flowing right through and around Cuba. It is just that none are staying in the country. That's a police state for you.

Recall that Castro tried and executed one of his generals for getting mixed up in the drug trade. Of course, it is possible the general was seen as a potential rival.

I thought he did in one of his relatives for drugs. :?: Just lined him up and shot him- was using Army as cover? back in the 1980's . Lots of people were pleading for the guys life, even the POPE, but Castro fired away. That’s one way to stop the problem, without worry of repeat offenders.
My thoughts at the time were, with the Anti drug crowd running the Gov at the time, HOW come they did not thank Castro? He did more to stop the drugs in FL in a few minutes, then the cops could hope to do in 10 years of working the streets- stoped the pipe line at the source> Instead the was condemned because he was a Commie for shooting smugglers . All I ask is that people get on one side of the fence or the other, Against drugs then why do they care who does the dirty work if it works? ( same with IRAN now, but that been changing with the wind for the last 7 years, if they are good enough to enforce our drug laws, I think they are pretty quick also to line them up also)
