I actually have been coming to Costa Rica for more than 18 years and I have noticed that it is increasingly difficult to get a quality massage here. Most MP girls simply " apply lotion". After a while my "novias" all get lazy. I'd rather not have to fly for 24hrs to Bangkok to get a top quality massage. There used to be a green house near the Dunn Inn where one could get a good massage ( no happy ending ) but now that is gone. There also used to be a MP called Thai Massage where the girls spent a lot of time on massage before the happy ending, that's gone too . Anyone here have recent experiences with a really good massage w or w/o happy ending. |

There have been many posts here about very good professional masajistas. Do a search . There are 2 that regularly work the SL who are massage only. Both are very good. The best I know of with a happy ending is Janet (Colombiana,26, very atractive) at La Mansion. 45 minute massage and 15 minutes of heaven  . There is a Sala de Belliza in the Holiday inn building (west side) and another across the street (west) that do massajes.

I second the Michelle recommendation. I also recommend Hilda at new fantasy assuming that she still works there. Super nice and playful with good skills after the massage too. |

On the corner of the Holiday Inn and in the same building there is a hair and nail salon, they also do massages. I was very pleased with her massage, no happy ending if that is what your looking for. |

I paid $50. Same as here in the U.S. You would think it would be cheaper in CR but it wasn't. |

The one in the Holliday Inn building and across the street are both, I think, $40 (high price for here). There is a masajista in many salas de belleza (beauty salons) in and around San Jose, and most charge around c10000-c12000 for a 1 hour masaje. Janet at La Mansion MP is a profesional masajista and gives a 45 minute masaje then 15 minutes of happy happy ( will do just a straight masaje if that is all you want). and the price is c12000 either way!!!! |

I had the same experience there, no happy ending  but a great massage. $40 for the hour.

Trianni at New Fantasy always gives an incredible massage and of course whatever else you may want. But the massage is great and she has all sorts of oils, lotions, etc. She really brings it. PURA VIDA! |

I've had a massage w/ a happy ending by a girl named Nuri. The massage was decent, and lasted most of the hour...but then came the happy ending. She is fun and sexy. I think she's the one that caused a stir here about a year or so ago. I haven't looked her up this trip, I did find her number again on CL... |

My two masajistas (no happy ending) are Angelica at the SL and Maria Elena Cerdas, a professional masajista who will visit your room with a massage table etc. and who offers a 90 minute deep tissue massage for around $45.00. (Note: I have seen neither therapist in two years, and my prices might not be current). The desk at SL, Presidente, Don Carlos and maybe Amon Plaza will probably be able to put you in touch with Maria Elena. There are a number of "sports clinics" in SJ as well as chiropractors, any of whom might be a good source for a non-sexual massage.
