For the technology challenged members here, like myself, could you go into a little more detail. When you say that if you use your own network that your ISP might cut you out, what can you do to avoid that. Does using the german website that you refer to eleminate that possibilty. If it doesn't, do you have any other suggestions. Thanks for your help. |

Whe you use a “raw†bittorrent client, you will be downloading files directly from other users machine around the world as well as uploading files from your own computer and this traffic is monitored not only by your ISP but the MPAA and RIAA too. In other worlds, the FBI could possibly break down your door one day. To avoid it, connect to your nearest unsecured neighbors, library, Starbucks, hotel wi-fi and you should be able to download with impunity. The German site http://www.usenext.com/ uses it its own servers and all files reside within their own network. Also using their bittorrent client will make any monitoring from your ISP look as just network traffic. AKA, that is what you paid your ISP for. Plus you do not have to upload any files. The MPAA and RIAA do not have any jurisdiction in Germany so they cannot track any traffic. Just for the sake of security, peace-of-mind, reliability and user friendliness, I paid the $9 a month and start downloading. |

And from UseNeXT's Website, you get a 14-day free trial to check it out... In looking at Brother El S's site, they are at 62, 341 pages at 10 vids/page of DL choices. If you can't find it there, you really have to be looking for ultra-extreme material that I probably don't want to know about. |

Why do you think that most bittorrent software is interchangeable? I’m not saying not to use bittorrents, just to put something in between. Somebody else network, proxies, etc. |

I concur with J0sie's understanding of BitTorrent clients and have never understood why people even use them. Didn't like Napster for that matter either. In a different area: A LOT of those porno sites install malware, spyware, and other stupidness on your machine; particularly when you actually view a clip..... |
