I picked up a small blackberry and have a Claro chip for pre-pay minutes.

The phone works fine when I am out and about, but I do not get service inside of the house I am renting. Very frustrating when people can't call me.

Which do you think is better Claro, Moviestar, or Kolbi?

Any chance if I get one of the other chips that it might work better inside my house?

(FYI - I am living near Jaco)

If you search the internet, I think you'll find signal strength coverage maps for the 3 companies.

Think about this point. If your phone works well "out and about" near your house, but will not work INSIDE of your house, it would be hard to blame the phone company for that. Maybe you should blame your house.
