Was not off the plane 5 hours and talk to a guy at the del ray and shit if ain't DD. SOB new all my Irish jokes. Good to see you and that you had a network. Saw Cln20 last night at the sportsman while on the way out the door for some bussiness. Just a FYI, I had been seeing Karla for 1.5 years. I westerned union her 250 as a christmas present. First time ever and had not received a request for money ever from her. Two weeks latter get the e-mail need money to go see mama in Panama. So, send 200. and state this is an advance for when I get there. 1 week latter get an e-mail need school supplys. Tell her we will talk when I get there. Called her from hotel a 5 pm. To meet at 7pm. At 8pm she is not answering the phone. so I head to Idem. Come back to hotel. no messages and no answering of phone. Call yesterday and no answer or messages. So, never had a request for money. Sent a present and phucked up a good thing. Live and learn, Hopfully this is helpfull info for you guys. For info purposes. If you feel a need to say I told you so. Feel free as I can take it. |

Red, Sorry for your misfortune. Karla is a beautiful woman, and a real sweetheart. I'm kinda surprised that she pulled this shit. It kinda seems out of character for her. But I guess it just goes to show... it's almost always an illusion. Newbies take note, as it's been said many times before.... DON'T SEND MONEY!

Incorrect conclusion, in my experience. For the record, my amigo Redman thought a show of generosity in the Christmas spirit would enhance his standing with her. Guys, when you give women anything they have not earned, this is the result: Loss of respect. This comes from the fact that they do not see themselves as our equal, therefor, they cannot accept generosity for what it is. Sadly, this drama is repeated on various scales daily. Buy her a drink? Not if I haven't already phucked her. She hasn't earned it. Her request for a drink or whatever is a "shit test" to determine if you have the balls to say "no" and risk losing her (you won't). Fail the shit test and you are marked as a softy. From that moment on, she has lost a degree of respect for you and, instead of trying to prove she is worth your favor, she is trying to see how weak you are and what more she can get out of you for nothing. This is a universal concept, gringas are the masters of this game to the point that they feel entitled to freebies from weak American men (yep, we did this!). The fact is, they are looking for a man strong enough and confident enough to tell them NO! with a sense of humor (if you get all butt-hurt it makes you look weak as well,; treat it as something you expected and have dealt with before; "nice try, thanks for playing, now lets get back to reality"). 
Sorry to hear that you got played, Redman. A cheap lesson well learned!

Because the RFM is not the nature of the beast. In fact, it is a learned response and we taught them. Their nature is to accept what they have earned and gratefully. The "mutant" chicas trying to play gringos got that way because somebody did something like send them money they didn't earn, bought them gifts, drinks, dinners that they didn't deserve. Once they are taught that they can get something for nothing, they try to see if the next gringo is as soft as the last. I never buy anything for a girl that she has not already earned! Never had an RFM, in person or by tele/email. They know I know the score and would be totally embarrassed to even attempt such a foolish endeavor. They know I would laugh at them, give them a hug, and ignore the request, silly girl! It is a learned response, not "the nature of the beast". |

Orange - With a smile and "but I don't even know you". "I only buy drinks for my amigas." Then go on to get to know her, if that is your desire. I don't end up with girls asking me to buy them drinks because (HDR): I don't sit at the bar and run a tab. I am on the prowl, not a stationary target tied down by a tab. When Miss OHMYGAWD walks in, I want to be able to make my move, not wait 15 minutes to pay my tab and get my change. I never take girls who approach me, never. I am the one making the advance, not the other way around. If the negocio goes well, there is plenty of time for drinks back in my room and the price is way better. By being the "predator" from the git-go they are much much less likely to see me as "prey". I have the balls to approach the hottest girl available and this changes the dynamic. She is not on "her game" and has to play mine instead. Make sense?

I agree with PAC on this but in a different way Tico's as a whole see tipping as a weakness Dumb gringo gave me more money than I asked for and I didn't do anymore work Yea if service was grat a tip may be in order but just a few coins or money for a short cab ride that is the kind of tip they can relate to When on kind of side track there
