Can anyone tell me if CR still is not excepting 100 bills and 50's that have a certain serial numbe?

No problem at banks but some merchants are still not accepting large bills. |

There was a sign at the SL last week about certain number 100's & 50's as being unacceptable. Go to the bank prior and have them give you the new colored 50's, I know that they took them at the SL and other places. Also make sure that all of the bills they give you are not torn, nor have writing on them. |

Also make it a point to not bring 100 dollar bills where the serial number begins with " CB ". There were a bunch of fakes with those serial numbers being floated by Columbians. |
