In the past I have tried to use the streaming video services from Netflix, Blockbuster, Hulu and other site in CR but could never get access because of copyright protection. I recently came across the Online Video Guide (http://www.ovguide.com/) which has TV shows, movies, even porn portals. Its more peer-to-peer streaming and I was wondering if it would still be blocked b/c of copy right. Perhaps an x-pat can try it out and report back here (or by PM).

I was told that you can get around this problem by going through a US-based VPN but I have no access to a VPN. Is there a website or some other method that will allow you to "piggyback" on a US-based VPN?

I know I shouldn't wast valuable time in CR watching TV but I did come across that great BBC documentary "World at War" and would like to check that out (and some others) while I have some downtime.

Many thanks,
Lance

I agree bro. that we need down time. But knowing where you like to stay and the nice coaches Eddie put in I can think of real life documentarys to watch. With out a T.V. Don't let the home town down. Hell, make your own. Then edit it and send me the girls.

Hi Red:

Hope you are keeping warm. I knew I might get flamed for wanting to watch TV in CR. A WWII documentry no less, but I figure after I watch the Nazi Blitzkrieg, I can use some of those tactical manuevers on Karen, Tamara, Katy, et. al.

Anyway I know its just jealousy from Red since I'm getting out of town for the big Obama bash. While he's here in DC waiting on the Mall in the cold with the rest of the crowds, I'll be toasting our new POTUS with an cold Imperial in one hand and hot chica in the other!

Pura Vida,
lance

Why don’t you try a different approach? I use a SlingCatcher. This was my Christmas gift to myself. I have previously bought a Slingbox so when I travel I can watch the Chicago Bears or catch a cubby game here and there. The SlingCatcher was feature this past summer and I promise myself to buy one. To explain what it does, it takes your TV at home and connects it to the TV on any hotel room in the world, therefore giving you the ability to watch your home programs/sports on that nice 42 LCD screen in your hotel room. There is nothing better than watching a NFL playoff game while your “chica” is sucking on your balls. And since I can use it for my work presentations, it was great to have them pay for the “gift”.
