The number of destinations you've traveled to last year boggle the mind. Do you ever work?

I appreciate the spirit of your post and resolve in 2009 to test the waters of different destinations. Having just returned from Brazil, and having spent considerably less money (while having considerably more fun) than six months prior, my experience supports your hypotheses.

CR, nevertheless, continues to be on my radar.

If you ever have the time maybe you could do a breakdown of each country and make it like a trip report. It's a lot to ask but the kind of info a newbie like lots of us could use. I have been invited to join a group to Rio and am trying to make that work. The cost is an issue as I am not a high dollar guy, in other words I still work and have to plan carefully. Thanks and I understand if it's to much to ask.

I totally understand Srilm's post. It has always been that nations of need breed a rather active P4P market. I've often envisioned sometime in the future "Mongering: Destination USA." Seems as the world turns and changes economically the landscape for P4P will as well.

I would also echo what the last member said on Brazil on a budget. Id love to go, but after doing Asia at an unreal frequent level, I can't imagine 150-200$TLN's or spending 300$ a day on girls.

Nice post re the view from other countries. I guess that I am not surprised that P4P is going strong around the world. In the US, when times are tough, people line up for governent hand-outs. In much or the world, where there are no assistance programs for the citizens, people have to do whatever they can to get by. That includes selling their a*s!

I believe that is the foundation of P4P in CR. There are no social programs like welfare so many chicas utilize their natural assets to get by.

Yes, poverty increases the number of girls willing to sell their bodies for cash. I am following the current economic situation and I am of the opinion that things will deteriorate significantly almost everywhere in the world for the next 5 to 10 years. For those whose financial situations are secure, mongering will very likely become cheaper and more available. Of course, 'secure' is a term that isn't as 'secure' as it used to be.

In a few years, hell, even now, you can see the increase in the number of girls advertising on craigslist. Even internees in the USA may be able to get laid. Your ex-babysitter may turn up as you browse the erotic listings. Let's just hope you don't run into an ad by your own daughter (or wife... or mother... or... ?)

Couldn't agree more! Been to Ukraine, Moldova, Sochi Russia. Problem I have found is logistics. Best case you fly out of Chicago, land in Frankfurt Germany 8 1/2 hours later with still 3-5 hours left to Kiev Ukraine. Not to mention the 10 1/2 hr. flight back.

Bust still, the most beautiful women for p4p I have found have been in Ukraine. It's nice to leave pecker tracks all over the globe

I sat next to a guy on a flight home from CR one time. He is a real vet of LOS but had been to Iceland on several occasions. He told me that in Iceland, the theme song is "Let's all just get drunk and screw." P4P, according to him, is available but the non-pro, nightclub scene is very active.

Good post, I am very curious about Ukraine. I am thinking about a trip this year to Belarus and Ukraine. CR just hasn't been the same and I am expanding my options. I have been noticing a very anti-gringo sentiment over the last year. It seemed like they use to roll out the red carpet for the gringos. Now, crime is on the rise and some have attitudes. Yeah, of course, there are great Ticos/Ticas, but overall, it's just been different.
