At about 9 pm I counted 50 girls working the Del Rey, and probably more guys. Very slow for any night, even a Monday in the worst of the rainy season. Still, nobody had to go without unless they were looking for a Mandarin-speaking spinner with a tattoo of a cowboy on her spine. Or something equally unlikely. I got bored and went over to the NY bar and had a nice time, though it certainly wasn't the place to be if you were looking for 'company.' We still had fun. If anybody is in town Friday night, my dynamic duo will be playing there from 8 to 11. Happy New year to all. |

Yeah, I showed up at the HDR around 9pm last night, and it was definitely a sausage fest. There were girls, though, and some really nice ones, yet they didn't seem to be getting any action... it was kind of odd. I ended up sessioning with a favorita, and only then after she'd been looking for business all night and not getting any. It was a strange night. |
