I'm going to be staying in Escazu for a few days next week - my first stay outside the gulch. Is there a tip about where to find some local talent, or do I have to schlepp over to the HDR every night???

2nd that schlepp away. Escazu all pretty and nice but girls kinda snotty and proper over that way. Did one time think I saw my masaje mate in an upscale bar but with her Tico boyfriend. Same night spoke with a nice hot 35ish Tica for an hour who I think would have done me for a very high price but I called her the next day and she blew me off. Guess she found someone who at the time paid higher.

In Escazu,where I live,just when you think you are making progress with a local Tica,she gets into her Mercedes or BMW and drives out of your life. It's tough to make a P4P offer to a chica that has more maney than you do. It's only a 15-20 minute ride in a taxi (depending on traffic)to Paradise. (DR or 100 different MPs)

Yeah, I live in Escazu as well, and there is no real action here. Your best bet, if you are good looking and have game is to try some of the bars, but that's not going to be P4P, just a good ole hookup if you can find it.

It's not far to the gulch, and even closer to Paseo Colon. Be wary, most girls won't want to go all the way to Escazu. You'll probably have to pay for cab fare if you can get them to.

This had me laughing. When I first moved to Escazu - I thought I had some major advantage with women in the area. Although, this can be true, as they may see you as a novelty or something different. Generally speaking, it was mostly my ego. In fact, I used to think I had some kind of economic advantage here until I realized that most ticos living in new Escazu have more money than me.

I also thought back to the time - when I was working a hot chica at the gimnasio. I thought I could woooo and wooowwww her by showing her my love nest, a house (3 bedroom, american style) and a car (old shitty geo tracker). Then, one day I saw her rolling into the gym in a $80,000+ brand-new giant Land Rover.

If you are young and have game, you might try the dicos. If not, any your preference is P4P, forget about Escazu. Its here. But, you would have to search deep into the old hoods up the hill. I don't think that is safe at all, given a taxi ride is 3k C.

Or you could pay about $200 for a Chica at the White House. You don't say your budget so you may prefer to stay in Escazu even if the cost is higher. Like most of the other posts, I would just cab it downtown. I did once score a freebie while staying in Escazu but I met the Tica in Santa Ana. There is a really hot disco in Escazu, I forget the name though. Techno music pumping like crazy. I walked in and then right out, but if that is your cup of tea, he place was loaded with hotties. Oh, and if you do take a taxi downtown, when you first get in, say, La maria por favor. Meaning turn on the meter. It will save you at least half.

I actually had some great Tica Times at the Escazu Condo. Every night we went to the Horseshoe and picked up some play money, then played the Del Rey tables and made more while watching the cafeteria of chicas parade by.
Everynight, we got great girls to come back to Escazu and just paid a bit more than normal.

Brother BangBang57's low-rent tours have pinpointed probably that many (ask anyone whose been on one of those--which unfortunately does not include me). The map shows the venues most of us would be interested in.
