I still want to thank you for correcting my misuse of vein. Perhaps you could continue my learning by enlightening me on the proper use and meaning of accustoned

Since you apparently spend much of your day in front of a computer, you will surely be aware that the "n" and the "m" keys on the keyboard are right next to each other. Hitting one or the other in error is a common enough mistake. This is not the case with the "e" and the "a" keys, however. Your "vein" error points to a more serious deficiency. Perhaps a lack of knowlege of the English language? Or maybe cerebral disfunction due to advantaged age? In any case I have to commend you for the swiftness in which you sought ought and identified said error. Good to see the CORRECTOR is still sharp and on his "GAME" :) :P  :)

I am certainly aware of the placement of keys on the standard qwerty keyboard. Certainly for most folks that would be a trivial error. However your apparent endorsement of a spell checker makes one wonder why you yourself do not use one.

Now Now ID, don't be so hard on yourself amigo!

Here are the facts:

I posted at 10:35, misspelling the word "accustomed"

Ever vigilant, your pointer forever hovering over the "view posts since last visit" link and clicking every 30 seconds, you immediately were alerted that there was a new post by yours truly, Phoenix Rising. Fascinated by my posts as you are, you immediately went straight to it for inspection. You then subjected it to the rigorous Irish Drifter examination for post-worthiness, intellectual integrity, grammar, and spelling. DING DONG! A bell went off ERROR! ERROR! Immediately you alerted me (in public) of my misspelling, your post clocking in at 10:49. All this in just 14 minutes!!!! And the wise-ass way in which you did it made it all the more enjoyable! :D I responded and quickly edited my post at 10:52. Total time elapsed 17 minutes. Brilliantly done!!! :D

And so,ID, I do not need a spell checker, as long as you are living and breathing and able and willing to CORRECT my posts. I thank you for the FREE service you provide me and like I said I am willing to pony up 6 bucks toward your sexual release with a lovely little sex worker at a local MP but still waiting to hear from your friend Paco and his boytoy Spanky.

Happy holidays,

Phoenix Rising

How the hell did I get dragged into this? I'll chip in my $6 bucks but I'm on a CR hiatus due to prior commitments in Asia. I'll pay you back when I see you. Surely a worldly man such as yourself can front me the $6. :D
