Fodor's Travel Announces "Show Us Your Costa Rica" Photo Contest

Fodor's announced the start of their latest travel photography contest "Show Us Your Costa Rica." Visitors to Fodors.com will have the opportunity to share their favorite photos of Costa Rica with other travelers, and the chance to have their photographs published in Fodor's Costa Rica 2010 guidebook-- on sale in October 2009.

Until January 5th, Fodors.com members are invited to "Show Us Your Costa Rica" by submitting favorite photos and descriptions of this popular destination. The winning photographer will win a suite of Fodor's new full-color guidebooks and 10 runners-up will receive two Fodor's guidebooks of their choice. The winning photos will be featured on www.Fodors.com; all submitted photos are eligible to be featured in Fodor's Costa Rica 2010.

The contest highlights Fodor's Focus on Photography section (www.Fodors.com/travel-photography/), which provides travelers with expert advice on taking travel and vacation photos. Fodor's Publisher Tim Jarrell says, "Our members travel to some of the world's most beautiful and amazing destinations. We provide them with the information they need to bring home equally beautiful and amazing photos, by featuring extensive travel photo tips on Fodors.com."

Photo submissions will be accepted at www.Fodors.com/contest/costa-rica/ through January 5th, 2009. Fodor's has previously run contests for Turkey, Israel, Alaska and Summer Vacation photos. Photos submitted to this past spring's Fodor's "Show Us Your Alaska" photo contest are featured throughout Fodor's latest full-color guide, Fodor's Alaska 2009.

They should especially solicit from the Bierdon's, allegedly CR's 2,000,000th visitors. Bet they have some humdingers--unlike us folk who have some ding hummers, like for instance live action fotos of police raids on the massage parlors or hot action in Parque Morazon, that sort of thing. How about 3D pix of the stuff floating in the water around Tamarindo? OK I'm just being silly here.

:D How the hell r u BL? I am actually living a normal, boring life right now. My K*ds graduate in 3 yrs so I figured I better give them the best I can until then. THEN, my real life will start back up again. Let me tell you brother, this side of the "bar" SUCKS! Trust me, live it up as long as you can. Not a week goes by that I don't think about the DR. I used to go ATLEAST once per mo, now it has been 11 months + since I have seen CR. Life on this side is exactly what everyone in CR knows... Be safe my friend, and enjoy your life.
