In a paper titled “Sexual behaviour of group-living adolescent chimpanzees” it was reported, “We recorded 213 copulations in 741.25 hours of observation…” Since there were three males in this particular captive group each male was having sex on average once every 10.5 hours.

We share 98% of our genes with chimpanzees. This is what we are by nature. But society has found a way to FUBAR what is perceived to be normal when it comes to sex.

Contrast natural chimpanzee sex to my life, where I was having masturbation every 10.5 hours and sex every 4380 hours if I had a good year. I know my life experience is not typical. I am a misfit. Not an evil misfit, but the “really nice guy” who never, ever, got the girl. I adore women. I put them on pedestals when they don’t belong. I am also fascinated with strip clubs, probably because I never got the girl when I was young. I really have to guard my feelings in Costa Rica and keep it real.

I regret that I am 58 and I didn’t discover Costa Rica until recently. Oh how I would have liked to have visited the HDR when I was 30! I may never have left. But, better late than never so I'll try not to look back.

Carry on fellow mongers. I raise my glass to all those who have discovered the paradise of Costa Rica and have found it possible to move to Costa Rica or to keep returning frequently. I was there in November and now my soul screams to return. I will be there as soon as possible.

I empathize with your feelings Brother Lostinspace, but "normal" is whatever you are. Though I have to wonder about the guys turning themselves into horsies ala a Season 3 episode of Bones, or those who get off hanging full bottles of soda from their cojones. Basically, how far from the center do you have to be, to be defined/ self-defined as "abnormal"? In my book, the margins are pretty damned far from the center and you're not even close. "Regrets I have a few/ But then again too few to mention...".
P.S. Did The Pink Palace even exist when we were in our 30's? Now the storied Park Hotel---a whole different thing, rumor has it.

Lost - You probably were deprived because you lived here. I'm always struck by how nonchalant Latin guys are when beautiful girls walk by. I used to blame the American guys who acted like jerks in the same situation, but that was only "buying in" to the fashionable feminist's view of the world. Unless all those monkeys were involved in rape, it required some female monkeys who were complicit.

At least you saw the writing on the wall. The country is full of gents who sublimate on the golf course instead of admitting what every guy inherently knows; gringas are phucked and foreign women get it.

I came to USA in 1980 and at the time there was a supply of available (willing) women everywhere. If you had sex every six months maybe you were too shy to approach the ladies, or you were too faithful to your hand! :twisted:
Come on guys, let's be real here, we monger because we can't get young women (like in granddaughters' age) here, not because there's no available women.

You are right Gypsy, I was too shy. But in the USA I had no legal options that seemed reasonable and economical. I did travel to Las Vegas once when I was about 35 years old and went crazy for 4 days. Each encounter lasted about 15 minutes. It was the trip of a lifetime until my first trip to Costa Rica.

I'm just saying that, especially for guys who have had difficulty getting out there and making connections, Costa Rica can bring new meaning to your life.

A lot of it too in this day and age is that we are getting so disconnected to other human beings due to all the technological advances for better or worse.

I can and do get out and meet both Gringa and foreign women here in south Florida but it is a lot of major effort and payoff a small fraction of the time. That isn't real fun. Yes we all get rejected but when such a great percentage of the time does start to wear you down and I feel like staying in more and more even if I have the next day off and have some money to spend.

I will admit part of the attraction to us in CR and points further south, east and west (read 75% of the rest in the world, non-advanced nations) is that we bring money and can obtain satisfaction. But I also enjoy the satisfaction of the mostly friendlier natives and cultures still with some basic values that are not eroded away or lost. And I don't feel guilty for bringing the money because it happens here in the US everyday so often.

Also the feminist movement has reached a very advanced stage in the US and industrialized nations but now in a negative way. So why are males needed anyway the feminists argue and it permeates thru our society and is creating some very negative consequences (ref. Kathleen Parker's "Save the Males"). Equality yes but male bashing no.

Forget the reasons of how you got here. Don't bother looking back. Most of us were victims of the same misfortune of growing up in puritanical America.

My advice to you is get your ass to Rio and/or Thailand as soon as you can. You're not getting any younger (I know about this) and there are 1000s of young ladies of all sorts that you need to experience while you can.

You'll thank me for this advice in the future.

Man, I guess I'll have to slow down so those monkeys can catch up..... :lol: 8)

I was extremely fortunate to grow up in a neighborhood with horny girls. By the time I reached puberty I already had it figured out that girls like to mess around as much or more than guys do! Women are attracted to men who are confident and self-assured ("arrogant" is the way many insecure men see them). Fortunately, the qualities that attract women can be learned (and "good looking" isn't even near the top of the list).

American women are just as horny as women everywhere else, they just have really strong "bitch shields" to deter the weak. Break through the bitch shield and you find a little horndog with her panties hanging off one ankle!

As for "normal", if you like it and so does she and nobody gets hurt, then it passes the "normal" test as far as I am concerned. :shock: :lol: 8)
