Good response Orange. But I think a small piece missing would be that she's implying that she just wants to go with you. But she understands you may have friends that you want her to be with and if that's the case she understands and will do it. So...she would rather not, but respects what you say as in "you're the boss".

Because even in Spanish what she's saying isn't very well put together unless you know each other very well and could read through what she's saying.

I of course could be way off, but it certainly seems that way to me.

I'm hoping for the above to be right, In this case I only want to share her with another woman, still another subject to broach. we can make each other understood in person but online is tough. Still taking spanish lessons maybe by trip time I'll be better at it. Going to do the tourist beach thing where there are not many girls or from what I hear not any you would want. How the hell did you guy's get that figured out? was it CR slang or just experiance?

Take it slow. I speak some Spanish, and still encounter problems from time to time. One thing that I learned when involved in counseling training is to repeat what the other person says. Add a thank you or other phrase to it. For example, she says, "Don't do me in the rear." You say, "I cannot do you in the rear?" Then add, "O.K., but I would really like to do you in the rear." You can take it from there. Also, I keep the Spanish simple. I tend to speak in the present tense and future tense. You do not need all the tenses, just an ability to listen and parrot.

I think it helps to be a little less formal in these situations. As oppossed to asking all that, just ask the latter (at the right time w/ a well placed smile) if she likes girls. That's simple enough and wouldn't sound like you had to memorize a few sentences.

With respect to you and others who implore CRTers to learn Spanish, we all didn't have the good fortune to grow up having Spanish being our first language. Even those of us who have made it our quest to learn Espanol have difficulty communicating with the sophistication or subtlety that native Spanish speakers possess. So when I read your statement above, it strikes me as a bit "superior" (which, when it comes to speaking Spanish, you are). No need to lord it over us who are second language challenged.
