el Festival de la Luz Sat 9/13 Last year I visited some friends in Sabana(sp) in the morning. When I tried to get back to the DR in the afternoon it was a horror show. The first 3 taxies I stopped wouldn’t even take me . Finally found on that would but it wasn’t cheap. I don’t blame the guy for charging more. If your going in or out of el Centro SJ Sat. afternoon plan accordingly. |

Maybe we’re talking about different Sabanas. The one I’m talking about is the park were the old airport was. If we’re talking about the same one and you can walk to the DR from there in a half hour. Good on you. |

Quote: Take the bus Buena idea .
How long do you think it will take Gus to get from Sabana to the Teatro Nacional this Saturday afternoon? Do you think Gus will be able to find a seat? |

Do you think Gus will be able to find a seat? I did it last Saturday and will do it again this Saturday. Getting a seat all depends on the time of day and which stop you get on. Seat vs standing is no big deal to me, especially considering the price and short time span. Bumping into a cutie is a great excuse to start a conversation... 8^) Takes about 20 minutes, just enough time to get a number and invite her for a drink. |

I average one block, or 100 meters per minute , wherever I walk in San Jose. Count the blocks. You will walk faster, in the luz festival, than any taxi or bus will take you, or car through downtown San Jose. |
