When I'm away I like to use the Pimsleur coure just to keep my brain a little inside Spanish, but they've gotten old.

Recently I saw an Ad for this course:

http://www.pimsleurmarketplace.com/inc/sdetail/5999

I was wondering if anyone had used it, and could give me some feedback.

I would switch over to Learn Spanish Like Crazy. They teach you more conversational Spanish than Pimmsleur and they are a lot cheaper. There are also tons of free Spanish courses on Itunes that you can download for free as well. Mostly conversational stuff that is more valuable than the formal stuff Pimmsleur teaches you.

Check out Coffee Break Spanish on iTunes. Like Spanky said, a lot more conversational/ useful stuff. It is more geared to the dialect in Espana, but they do throw lots of references to the differences of Latin American dialect. They have 15 minute podcasts and the format is a teacher setting with a student learning as you are. Get past the fact that teacher and student are Irish with a good brogue

I give it a solid thumbs up. Especially if Rosetta Stone is a little too expensive for yor budget.

Actually the Coffee Break Spanish people are from Scotland, but I agree. It's good free Spanish lessons for your iPod. There are plenty of others there too. Just look thru iPod U in the iTunes Store for free Spanish podcasts.

If you live anywhere near a big city, just go to the latin section...

Its a lot more fun than a course, and you may even discover some local talent...

BTW, that course, I'm told, sucks ass... but that's hearsay...
