That's right bitches 8)

Finally 1,000 posts. It's been one hell of a ride. I've gained a lot of info and most importantly met some great guys that I'm sure I'll be friends with for a long...long time.

I want to thank all those who make CR a great place to chill. And special thanks go to Getrythm back in the early days of 2005 it was reading his trip reports that finally made me pay a visit to CR and I'm very glad I did.

Not sure if many of my posts are helpful or not ( learn spanish ) but I know I have certainly gained useful info being a part of this board.

I will see some of you on my 4 day romp in Nov and I hope to se a lot of you in February...

Thanks for everything bitches 8)

P.S. Learn spanish

Congrats, and you deserve your Ph. D. I am impressed that you know 'a lot' is/are (?) actually 2 words, which separates you from the Masters degree folks.

good work Cujo..

You seem like you're following in the footsteps of some noble mongering guys on this board. You set a good example for up and coming CRT's like myself.

Keep making newbies feel welcome, and keep preaching the importance of language and a new great generation of CRT's are bound to come.

Like my man said up top learn some portugues and prepare to move on to another horizon. Don't rule out a late '09 Brasil trip...

Do it big in November...don't forget to vote before you leave...unless you're in for Mccain, in that case just bag-it.

I know right. Honestly, even in a sea of absolutely beautiful women I keep my composure pretty well. But I completely conceede the fact that I may go crazy my first 2 or 3 days there then back to myself again.

As Pac mentioned, I'm a slave to the bunda. And as we know they don't come any better then Brazil. I've actually messed around with Portuguesse a little bit and I'm glad it mirrors spanish in many ways.

Yea, I couldn't go to Brazil without being able to talk to them. I know it doesn't matter, but it does to me big time.

But that trip will happen for me and I'm sure I will be forever screwed thinking of those tan lines cascading over those brown palace's.

So it will happen. When I do I will be with one of the God fathers of Brazil such as yourself, Ron Medellin, or Getrythem who must be up for membership so open the books. I just want to have a decent handle on the language, and be with like minded guys who know what's up. 8)

Thanks for the comments, and one day I'll see you bitches in Rio

YO Jad:

I've always considered the number of posts that an individual makes really means nada. What one actually adds to the forum is the key. Anyway, it appears to be an important milestone to your presence here and I certainly applaud your enthusiasm. Nothing wrong with that. Hopefully, you will continue to add info and reflective dialogue to this forum.

Sorry, just trying to get my post count above 50. I'm just pitiful and can't remember what I wrote last.

Circus’ comment is on point that is it is not the number of posts one makes but the quality of the post that is important. In other words, does a member add value to the other members of the site?

From my perspective, since I have started posting more I am paying closer attention to the exchanges in dialog. Granted, some of the comments are drivel and others are simply irrational ramblings. But a member soon learns who has valuable knowledge and who doesn’t. I have tried to pay attention and make cogent comments but when I come upon a name I recognize as a purveyor of nonsense and imprudence, I simply skip to someone who makes sense.

As silly and trivial as it is to be obtain a PHD from the University of Del Rey, creating 1000 posts is a milestone of sorts in that it says something about ones interest in the sport and cause of mongering. It also infers ones interest in the well being of fellow hobbyists. Some of the advice given out is not only needed by the fellow monger, it is also very valuable and thus in fact does add value to the other members of the forum.
